Children Needed for UW-Madison Study on Language Impairment

Dr. Audra Sterling's Research in Developmental Disabilities and Language Lab at UW-Madison is conducting a longitudinal study on language and executive function to better understand how memory and flexible thinking skills are related to grammar, spoken language, and language comprehension.

We are currently recruiting:

  • Children with expressive/receptive language impairment/delay (ages 4-8 years) including children with:
    ○ Developmental language disorder
    ○ Language goals on their IEP without a known cause for impairment
    ○ Suspected language delay/disorder without a known cause
